Our Commitment

ATCO EPIC

Employees Participating In Communities

Our employees are compassionate and generous and we want to support that spirit in our organisation by empowering them to use their skills to positively impact communities. Our ATCO EPIC program is an employee-led initiative that combines fundraising events, employee donations, and volunteering to a wide variety of charitable and not-for-profit (NFP) organisations.

While employees drive the program, it is a collaborative effort with wholehearted corporate backing to ensure we can make the most out of our efforts.  For example, ATCO match employee pledges dollar for dollar, provide a donation for employees who donate more than 50hrs of their time to a charity or NFP organisations. ATCO also absorbs costs to administer the program to ensure 100% of funds raised go directly to the people who need it the most.

Last year, our combined efforts globally meant we pledged $3.3 million dollars, while staff volunteered nearly 12,000 hours!

ANZAC Observances

It is with great humility that for over 20 years ATCO Gas Australia, with the support of its dedicated employees, offers its expertise to support ANZAC commemorations in Western Australia.

This support includes preparing, attending and operating a specially designed gas powered cauldron which is used during the annual Len Hall tribute to match played by the Fremantle Dockers AFL team, as well as RSL commemorations and other community events.

In addition to maintaining the cauldron, ATCO Gas Australia also looks after the components and natural gas supply at the Flame of Remembrance in Kings Park, making sure it is in excellent working order for the ANZAC Day dawn service at Western Australia’s State War Memorial, as well as throughout the year.
