ATCO Australia’s partnership with the University of Western Australia Business School incorporates a range of teaching, research, thought leadership and community engagement. The relationship is based on the provision of continuous learning opportunities in support of a skilled and sustainable workforce.
Additionally, a financial hardship scholarship, awarded annually, provides direct assistance for undergraduate students.
Teaching & Research
ATCO is supporting UWA Business School’s Full Time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program through participation in the Business Advisory Project. This provides an opportunity to apply course learning and theoretical knowledge to real business situations. In 2015, a team of MBA students worked alongside management and staff from ATCO Gas Australia in assessing natural gas technologies. Additionally, the full time MBA cohort was welcomed to ATCO Power Australia’s Karratha power generation plant for an operational overview of the facility during a Pilbara study tour.
Furthermore, a select number of high performing undergraduates and post-graduate students are guests of ATCO Australia’s ‘Boardroom Lunches’ hosted at the company’s headquarter office in Perth’s CBD. Students have the opportunity to hear from, and network with ATCO Australia’s Managing Director and Executive Management team in an enjoyable and interactive environment.
ATCO is a diversified global corporation delivering service excellence and innovative business solutions in Structures & Logistics, Electricity, Pipelines & Liquids, and Retail Energy. More information about ATCO can be found on www.ATCO.com.
